Ii’s going to be a competitive scrap between two aggressive and durable sluggers. Fundora (20-0-1, 13 KO) will be the favorite, though Mendoza (21-2, 15 KO) will undoubtedly make him work for it. The winner will be in line to fight Jermell Charlo.

Shakur Stevenson vs. Shuichiro Yoshino, 12 rounds, WBC Lightweight Eliminator

Who will be crowned as “The King of the Night” Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs), an undefeated former two-weight world champion, will face Japanese puncher Shuichiro Yoshino (16-0, 12 KOs) in a 12-round WBC lightweight title eliminator at Newark’s Prudential Center on April 8 2023. Yoshino, is a former Japanese lightweight champion who compiled a 104-20 amateur record. After seven defenses of his Japanese title, Yoshino rose in the rankings after a dominant 2022 campaign. The co-main event will feature heavyweight knockout artist Jared \"The Real Big Baby\" Anderson aiming for another stoppage, and the televised opener will showcase rising lightweight Keyshawn Davis. Jesse Rodriguez vs. Cristian Gonzalez,12-round bout

Jesse Rodriguez will take on Cristian Gonzalez for the vacant WBO flyweight title on April 8. The 12-round bout will take place in Rodriguez’s hometown of San Antonio, Texas, and will stream on DAZN. Rodriguez (17-0, 11 knockouts) had a breakthrough in 2022, a year that saw him win three fights and earn consideration as a “Fighter of the Year” nominee in several boxing publications. Gonzalez (15-1, 5 KOs), who resides in Tultitlan, Mexico, most recently fought on March 25, knocking out former title challenger Juan Alejo in the opening round. In June 2021, Gonzalez on the other hand, defeated Saul Juarez, another title challenger, by unanimous decision. but jumped two weight classes to defeat former titleholder Carlos Cuadras to win the vacant WBC world junior bantamweight title last February. Gonzalez (15-1, 5 KOs), who resides in Tultitlan, Mexico, most recently fought on March 25, knocking out former title challenger Juan Alejo in the opening round. In June 2021, Gonzalez on the other hand, defeated Saul Juarez, another title challenger, by unanimous decision. The 23-year-old is unbeaten since suffering a split decision loss to current flyweight contender Angel Ayala in May 2019. The loss to Ayala occurred in Gonzalez’s seventh fight as a pro. Angel Acosta and Angelino Cordova to headline in the GOLDEN BOY FIGHT NIGHT at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, Indio, CA, US. 32 year old Former WBO world light flyweight champion Angel Acosta(23-3, 22 KOs) returns to action as he takes on 27 year old Angelino Cordova(17-0-1, 12 KOs).  After losing his world title in 2021, Acosta bounced back from this disappointment with a knockout win over Janiel Rivera and he will be looking to do more of the same against Cordova.  For Cordova, this fight with Acosta will be his toughest test in the professional ranks with the Puerto Rican being only the second opponent Cordova will have fought with a winning record.
